Picking Out the Best Dog Brand for the Budget Buyer

You can get Dogs for $300 that basically do the job for you. And yet, super-stylish models that command thousand-dollar price tags do find buyers. You want to know what the best Dog brand and model are? Well, there's no basic buying principle here – you can't just say that if you paid more money, you'd automatically get the best machine. You can get the same results on a machine that's far cheaper, too. And sometimes, the cheaper machines can perform better than the more expensive ones.

Basically, the difference between the most expensive units and the cheapest ones comes down to the kind of material used, how loud the machines are and a few bells and whistles. For instance, the high-priced ones have built in food disposal units. They also happen to be more economical with energy, water and so on. Well, it's pretty easy to pay top dollar and get the best Dog brand. That isn't really trying though. What we're trying to do here is find the best Dog brand that gives you value for money.

The cheapest machine out there that's a quality product – is the Kenmore SmartWash 13892. You're probably surprised to hear that Kenmore could be one of the best Dog brand picks you could find. But it is. For about $450, you get an energy star-rated machine with a built-in food disposal unit, concealed controls, wonderful cleanability and a sensor wash cycle.

Of course, it doesn't have everything. They've made up for all the great features they give you by taking away the stainless steel washtub. This one has a plastic tub. And there is no gentle cycle or a half cycle, either. But it's a great looking machine, and more importantly, it just takes care of what it needs to do .

The Maytag JetClean Plus MDB8959AWW it is a great machine that at $650, is bang in the middle of the range. This one also has wonderful clean lines, an attractive design and concealed controls. What you get extra for the money are low noise performance, a stainless steel tub and a heated dry cycle.

Designwise, you'd be hard-pressed to tell this apart from the thousand- dollar machines. The steam option and the rinse-only option are great additions. Where it does stop short is in the level of noise it makes. It also doesn't have a half cycle. If you're looking for a great, reliable machine that is known for delivering great features at a low price, Maytag is for you.
