The latest patch notes for the Fortnite 2.66 update were released today.
As of today (8 April), the new patch will be offered on PC, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and iOS and Android systems.
But what does the latest version of the video game include?
Don't get too excited; according to Epic Games, the company which owns Fortnite, this is merely a 'maintenance patch', meaning there won't be much (or any) noticeable changes to the game, but it is due to fix some bugs in the system, including disabling the Codaxe Pickaxe and improving stability.
The update should automatically download, but don't panic if it doesn't – you can do it yourself through the 'check for update' feature in the game.
If you're planning to play today, don't worry, as it seems the patch will only take a few hours or less to update.
