Fortnite update today for PC, Android and Mac - Epic Games provide patch notes

It's been a busy day for Fortnite Battle Royale gamers, with a new set of challenges available to complete on all platforms. And Epic Games has followed up its latest release with a new Fortnite update on a select number of platforms. As confirmed earlier today by the Fortnite support team, a new patch has been launched on PC, Android and Mac.

And as you might expect, this new update is limited to fixing problems affecting those platforms.

So PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch gamers shouldn't worry about missing out on some snazzy new content.

A message from Epic Games confirms: "We've released a maintenance patch for PC, Mac, and Android today that's available for download upon opening or relaunching the game."

From what has been shared online so far, it appears that this new patch removes problems affecting Creative Mode, as well as removing problems for Controller players.

A short list of patch notes from Epic Games can be found below:

This patch addresses the issue in Creative involving a crash that may occur after double-clicking on an item in the Chest tab. We'll keep you updated as this issue is resolved on all remaining platforms.

On PC, this patch also addresses the issue in BR involving controller players getting stuck spectating with no UI if their "Ready Up" is cancelled. We'll keep you updated as this issue is resolved on the other affected platforms.
