'Schitt's Creek' farewell tour canceled because of COVID-19 considerations

Aug. 21 (UPI) -- Eugene Levy introduced on Twitter that the Schitt's Creek: The Farewell tour has been canceled as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.

Eugene Levy and his son, Dan Levy, co-starred in the Emmy-successful sitcom, which ran for six seasons.

they'd scheduled visits to a number of North American cities to check with fans in regards to the show, but the tour became postponed on account of the pandemic.

The duo decided to cancel the engagements as a result of the fresh upward thrust in COVID-19 situations.

"We're so sorry to be lacking you, and we can continue to try to find a means to look you sooner or later," the elder Levy pointed out in a press release.

Tickets could be refunded at the aspect of purchase.

The Levys' co-stars Tim Rozon and Sarah Levy can now be considered within the Syfy collection, SurrealEstate, while Emily Hampshire stars in Epix's Chapelwaite and Annie Murphy is the lead in Kevin Can [Expletive] Himself.
