PLANO, Texas (AP) — Tea birthday celebration firebrand Allen West, a candidate for the Republican nomination for governor of Texas, turned into hospitalized with COVID-19 on Sunday but spoke of he's "doing super."
"No complaints. I'm simply enjoyable," West told The linked Press right through a brief cell interview from a health facility within the Dallas suburb of Plano. He referred to he acquired a great night's leisure and was waiting for the results of an early morning chest X-ray.
West and his wife, Angela West, were diagnosed with the virus after attending a "packed apartment" fundraising experience in Seabrook, Texas, remaining week. He said Saturday that he is "suspending in-adult movements until receiving an all-clear indication."
