Invincible: 5 Anime Heroes Omni-Man Could Beat Inside A Fight(& 5 He'd Lose To)

When any new character of a particular power level is introduced into the pop culture sphere, there is always the question of "Are they stronger than…?" These questions pass through all fanbases over and over again regardless of the year. A new question to fall into this category is Omni-Man from Robert Kirkman’s Invincible.

A Superman-esque character of the Viltrumite alien race who all share remarkable powers allowed Omni-Man to quickly rise up as the most powerful hero on Earth. However, as we leave the world of Western comics and delve more into the world of anime, Omni-Man’s powers become less amazing— though he can still hold his own in a lot of battles.

10 Could Beat: Gon Has Been Left Powerless Without His Nen

Hunter X Hunter is a series praised for its realism and subversion of the classic Shonen genre. However, this realism also leaves the majority of its cast powerless to someone like Omni-Man. Gon Freecss, the main character of the series, would be powerless to Omni-Man in his current state.

After using up all of his Nen power in the finale of the Chimera Ant arc, Gon was essentially left as a normal human. From this point, it is simply no contest that Omni-Man would beat him.

9 Would Lose To: Saitama Would Face No Challenge At All

Part of what makes One-Punch Man so entertaining is that power scaling doesn’t matter. The primary joke of the series is that Saitama is unbeatable. Following that formula, Omni-Man’s Viltrumite powers are inconsequential.

Omni-Man has also been shown to not be the most powerful figure in the Invincible comic. In terms of the Viltrumite hierarchy, he is treated as more of a foot soldier. Characters such as Thragg, Conquest, and even Allen the Alien have been shown as just as, or more powerful, than him.

8 Could Beat: Naruto Has Fallen Down A Peg Without Kurama

The recent Boruto chapters have had Naruto be disarmed of his greatest asset and the very thing that allowed him to challenge greater forces such as Madara and Princess Kaguya: The fox spirit Kurama.

Without Kurama by his side, Naruto cannot access any additional chakra besides his Sage Mode powers. That said, even with Kurama and in his prime, Naruto’s speed and power may not even be able to match with Omni-Man’s. Especially considering the thousands of years Omni-Man spent training to conquer planets and battle alien species.

7 Would Lose To: Goku Is Simply Too Strong

Son Goku has gained many additional forms of power through the near forty years of Dragon Ball media. From the Kamehameha waves, Super Saiyan, Super Saiyan God, and Super Saiyan Blue, he was already a huge challenge for Omni-Man. Laso adding Goku’s Saiyan physiology, which causes him to increase his power every time he’s beaten to near death, definitely allows him to overcome Omni-Man’s power.

And taking into account Ultra Instinct, which essentially makes Goku untouchable, Goku simply has too many powers to directly counter Omni-Man.

6 Could Beat: Ichigo Kurasaki Has Never Reached As High As The Other Big Three

Ichigo Kurosaki of Bleach was never intended to match with the incredible scale of many Shonen protagonists. In fact, his final form in the finale of the series was not even strong enough to defeat the main villain.

Though he is known for his impressive speed, he had not encountered someone who was as quick as him. Match that with Omni-Man’s invulnerability and immense strength and Ichigo’s Soul Reaper powers no longer grant him the upper hand. Omni-Man also has centuries more experience with battling foes on his level than Ichigo.

5 Would Lose To: Gojo's Power Exceeds Most Anime Heroes

Gojo’s power over space and time in Jujutsu Kaisen and his impressive Domain Expansion technique made him the single greatest threat toward the Curses and their desired revolution of the natural order of things. His curse techniques prevent any malicious attack from touching him, making him borderline invincible.

Due to Omni-Man’s lack of experience facing magical/spiritual-based threats, he may simply have no counter for this kind of opponent. Gojo, however, has faced decades worth of Curses who each possess a variety of attacks ranging from physical to mental and even spiritual.

4 Could Beat: Deku Still Has Much To Learn

Despite bearing one of the most powerful quirks in the entirety of My Hero Academia, Deku still lacks the ability to use it properly and unleash the full power of One For All. Deku’s quirk grants him unstoppable strength— however, his body lacks the invulnerability to protect himself.

Throughout the series, he has caused serious, irreparable damage to his own body. Omni-Man, on the other hand, suffers none of this and can use his Viltrumite powers to their full extent without any fear of drawback or recoil.

3 Would Lose To: Meliodas' Demon Clan Powers Grant Him The Advantage

Meliodas is the Captain of the titular Seven Deadly Sins crew as well as the son of the Demon King, over centuries he gained a reputation as one of the most feared swordsmen in Britannia. His incredible physical prowess can further be enhanced through the use of his demonic power, which also grants him the power to form constructs and heal his body.

Though his Full Counter ability would be useless against Omni-Man, due to it only working on magic, his wide variety of powers and enhancement abilities make him more than a match for Omni-Man.

2 Could Beat: Eren Yeager's Titan Form Is Not Enough

Eren Yeager’s Titanshifter powers grant him the advantage in his own world within Attack On Titan. However, in the case of Omni-Man, he battles giant monsters regularly. The Attack Titan would simply be too slow to hit Omni-Man, and Omni-Man’s incredible strength would far outmatch that of any Titan.

Even without knowing about Titan physiology and their weak point on the back of the neck, and their rapid regeneration powers that allow them to heal from any wound that is not on their weak point, Eren would be no match for Omni-Man’s superior speed, strength, and durability.

1 Would Lose To: All Might Is More Than Just A Symbol

Even not in his prime, All Might has enough power to defeat Omni-Man. Though Omni-Man would have the initial advantage with his power of flight, All Might has proven during the course of My Hero Academia that not only is he a powerful fighter, he’s also a smart one.

Despite being on his last legs against All For One, he managed to outsmart him and use the full brunt of his power against him. All he would need to do is grab Omni-Man and All Might’s power and intelligence would be enough to wear him down.
